'We did not plan Mumbai Attacks': Pak

'Not on our soil for nuts'

Pakistan on Tuesday said that findings of its probe into the Mumbai terror attacks- detailing whether they were planned in India or elsewhere- are likely to be made public within a week.

He said that the Pakistan government had mantained all along that it was not involved in Mumbai attack's conspiracy.

A team of the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has submitted its preliminary probe report regarding the Mumbai attacks, Minister of State for Interior, Tasnim Ahmad Qureshi, told reporters during a visit to National Police Foundation here.

"The report would soon be made public at a suitable time, possibly within a week," Qureshi said.

He said “whether attacks were planned in India or elsewhere” will be revealed only when the government brings out the report.

Top Pakistani leaders have said the Law, Interior and Foreign Ministries are currently vetting the report submitted by a three-member team of the FIA.

Pakistan’s High Commissioner to India, Shahid Malik, arrived here today for consultations on finalising the country’s response to the Indian dossier on the Mumbai attacks.
