In the upcoming aqua-adventure thriller Blue , Lara will be seen in itsy-bitsy swimwears. The credit for the effervescent bikini look of Lara in the movie goes to Hollywood make-up artist Nikoletta Skarlatos who gave the actress special water-resistant make-up so that she keeps looking fabulous and doesn’t lose her sheen while swimming underwater as normal make-up can’t stand salty sea water for long.
If ‘Blue’ is grabbing attention for Kylie Minogue and Katrina Kaif , do not forget that Lara is the main actress in the film, paired opposite Sanjay Dutt . And Lara has prepared quite hard to get into the skin of the character.
Donning the bikinis is the easy part. She has done some daring underwater stunts for which she learned scuba diving. However, it was her co-actor Akshay Kumar who helped her to get this plum role. Akki recommended Lara’s name to Anthony D’Souza, the director.
The movie is India’s first underwater thriller on the lines of international movies like ‘The Deep’ and ‘Jaws’. The characters are in search of a treasure, hidden in the depth of a sea.
