Madhavan returns in 13B Sequel

If you weren't quite horrified with the atrocity that was '13B', this bit of news should petrify you - the sequel of 13B is afoot.

Star Madhavan and director Vikram K Kumar have already discussed ideas of the spooky sequel and the film should hit screens in 2011. In fact Madhavan was so pleased with the outcome of '13 B', that the star took the director on a short holiday.

Madhavan said, "I had promised Vikram a treat during the making of the movie. He deserves every bit of the success he is getting now after six years of hard work in this industry. Vikram and I going for a holiday to Dubai or Singapore. It is a boys-only holiday, where we will be chilling out, eating and indulging in water sports."

Madhavan added, "This holiday will also be discussion time for 13B's sequel. I am glad that the movie did well in Hindi as well as Tamil. We look forward to offer more to the audience."

'13 B' was a Box Office flop, but Madhavan has the biggest film of his career lined up for 2009, '3 Idiots'. He has slimmed down a great deal for the film and wll star alongside bigwig Aamir Khan (who had to sign a contract that restricts him from interfering with the direction and screenplay) and fellow 'Rang de Basanti' compatriot Sharman Joshi. '3 Idiots' finished shooting in April and Madhavan can't stop raving about it. "It is crazy fun on the sets but at the same time, serious work happening. I am working on my dates and as soon as I am done I will fly out with Vikram" he said
