Dhoni Lost Sleep during Mumbai Attacks

The terror attack on Mumbai by Pakistan-trained terrorists also disrupted England's tour of India with the visitors returning home without playing the last two One-Dayers of the seven-match series.

Indian players too were disturbed by Mumbai terror attack with Indian captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni revealing that he as well as his fellow players are yet to fully recover from the shock of the dastardly attacks.

"We were not thinking about cricket at that point of time because whatever happened was very sad and we were all glued to the television. And those 70 hours were terrible and I just slept for six hours," Dhoni said.

"We don't really control our security but one thing that is in our hands is to be clam and composed and look into other areas like playing cricket, our preparation and about the series -- what we are planning to do and we are looking forward to that. With the number of police men around you, you can just concentrate at the cricket part," he said.

The skipper also thanked England's players for deciding to return to India for the two-match Test series to be played at Chennai and Mohali.

The Test series between India and England is scheduled to start in Chennai on Thursday and the trophy that the winning team will take home was unveiled in Chennai on Wednesday.

The two captains - Dhoni and Kevin Pietersen of England - were present at the ceremony. England team to India after the final security assurance was given by England and Wales's Cricket Board's security advisor Reg Dickason.
